**What Is the Moro Reflex? πΆ**
The **Moro reflex**, also known as the startle reflex, is a natural reflex seen in newborns. It is triggered by sudden movement, loud sounds, or a feeling of falling.
As a child develops, this reflex typically integrates as the nervous system matures. If primitive reflexes remain active longer than expected, they may sometimes affect areas such as **posture, balance, coordination, attention, and motor development**.
Early developmental observation can help identify areas where a child may benefit from additional support.
At **Origin Child Development Center**, we provide individualized developmental support through:
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Speech Therapy
- Behaviour Therapy (BT)
- Special Education
- Autism Support
- ABA Therapy
